Fixing jammed iron gate
I have a heavy iron gate at my front door (Spanish style). The door hangs slightly crooked in the frame and is warped somewhat so it jams. The hinges are lift-off, but welded onto frame and door. The lock is fine, it's just a pain to pull and push it open. The frame is cemented into the wall, I do not see any screws etc for adjusting. I've tried sanding it down where it jams, but it's not enough. Any ideas? I'm having a really hard time finding a local metalworker that has time to fix it. One said hed take it out to his workshop and slice a few mm off, but he never returned. Sorry, I'm a novice, don't know all the terminology. Thanks for any suggestions.
