Campsite recommendations for France Dordogne region, with wild swimming / sailing dingy or canoes on lakes or rivers

Myself and a friend (both late 30s male) are going to Dordogne region in France at the end of September, and from looking at the eurocampings and pitchup filters, they always seem to recommended campsites that are better suited for families and more comfortable camping utilities, which isn't what appeals to us.

We dont mind roughing it a bit, but we know its rutting season which is why we're leaning more to actual campsites rather than full wild camping.

Can anyone recommend campsites in Dordogne (or slightly beyond that) which...

Ideally has:

* Wild swimming (lake or rivers)
* If a lake: ideally big enough where we can rent small sailing dingys or catermarans / paddle boards / kayaks. We're not particularly interested in jet skis and power boats etc.
* If on a river: canoe or kayak hire.
* Cooking stove, BBQ, or campfire friendly (only for cooking purposes - assuming wildfires etc calm down a bit by end of Sept). Communal bbq/camp fires are fine too.

Nice to haves, but not essential:

* Local villages or small towns a short hike or drive away (small selection of cafes, restaurants and local bars would be nice).
* Castles, or interesting sites within an hour or so drive for day visits.
* Showers and drinking water (low priority, we can freshen up in the lake without soap etc).

Thank you et merci in advance for any tips you can share!
