MCU Spotify Playlists for your enjoyment!
I wanted to share a few MCU Spotify playlists that I have made for your listening enjoyment. These have been crafted over the past few years, but only finalized within the past few months(no MCU playlist is ever finished as long as they keep producing content lol, and they will be updated as more content comes out). **Marvel Theme Songs** is self-explanatory playlist that features the themes from all the MCU Movies and Marvel/MCU TV Shows in release order. I believe some of them had 2 songs/tracks that were the "themes" of the movie(i.e., GOTG Vol. 1 has both the Guardians orchestral theme and "Come and Get Your Love"), so I included those as well. Also included in this soundtrack are the Marvel Studios Fanfares both by Brian Tyler and by Michael Giacchino, but they are placed in there respective places in the timeline of when they were first used before a MCU movie. If you're looking for a listen through the MCU in under 4 hours, this is the one for you! It currently sits at 82 tracks and 3hr 38min.
The **Best of the MCU** playlist builds upon the previous playlist, and was created out of my favorite tracks from the MCU titles. Specifically it has 5-10 of what I deemed the best tracks(most catchy and most musically/thematically interesting) from each MCU movie & MCU TV soundtrack also in release order(X-Men '97 & YFN Spiderman are coming). This playlist is unique in that you can hear some select themes from one title reappear in another title's soundtrack. I'm not just talking about the main title themes like Michael Giacchino's Spiderman theme in that trilogy, or Alan Silvestri's Avengers theme, or even Giacchino getting to use his Dr. Strange theme again in Spiderman NWH(which obviously they do come back in those later films), but themes like the "Tony makes the sacrifice play" theme which debuts in The Avengers, but comes back again when he snaps in Endgame. Another example is the "Vormir death/sacrifice" theme that is not only in Infinity War and Endgame, but comes back in an even more somber and longing way in Hawkeye(Natasha's Lullaby theme from Black Widow also comes back in Hawkeye in a somber way). And the final one I'll mention is Christophe Beck getting to use his WandaVision theme again in Agatha All Along for Billy Kaplan. So who says the MCU doesn't reuse themes! Anyway, this playlist clocks in at 374 tracks and 15hr 51min.
And finally the **Marvel Soundtracks** playlist is the full soundtrack from every MCU movie and MCU TV show in release order but with one key detail: it omits the tracks that are drones/pads with nothing interesting musically. Of course those tracks are important to the movie/show itself, but because they are more or less "boring" to listen to, I have omitted them in favor of the majority of the tracks that are more musically interesting. There are also selected pop songs from those titles that are included as well on this playlist, but they aren't the main focus of this playlist. The X-Men '97 & YFN Spiderman soundtracks are coming soon to this playlist as well. This playlist clocks in at 1470 tracks and 66hr 3min.
As an aside, the Eyes of Wakanda soundtrack has not released yet as of me posting this, but when it does, I will update these playlists accordingly.
