Which MCU Movie Surprised You the Most?
For me, it was Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
At the time, I had never heard of the Russo Brothers, and when I found out they mostly came from directing comedy TV shows, I thought the movie might surprise me, but I never expected it to be as good as it was.
Instead, I got something completely different from what I expected. It felt more like a political thriller than a typical superhero movie, and it was executed incredibly well.
The action was great, the stakes felt real, and the whole conspiracy aspect kept me hooked from beginning to end. It ended up becoming not only one of my favorite MCU movies, but one of my favorite superhero movies of all time.
What MCU movie surprised you the most, either because your expectations were low or because it turned out to be completely different from what you expected?
