Painting pvc/vinyl bathroom trim black?
I am installing waterproof trim in the bathroom and hoping to paint it black. I have been reading that it's best not to paint pvc trim black because it gets hot in the sun and can warp the trim and/or the paint can peel. I can't figure out if that's specifically for exterior trim or if I need to worry about that in a bathroom. Anyone know if this will be a problem? Planning on scuffing, then a bonding primer (will Bullseye 123 suffice?) and then Behr premium cabinet door and trim paint. I know behr is inferior paint but... Budget constraints.
