**How I got here:** I started my journey as a watch modder three years ago. I really enjoyed making small paintings on watch dials using acrylic paint, usually with music playing, since most of my ideas come from whatever I'm listening to. I've painted plenty of watches for my family and friends, but I was never satisfied, so much so that I decided to learn enameling, to achieve permanent and elegant details that actually last.
I keep coming back to the same idea: for me, a watch is at its best when it's deeply personal, something that actually means something to the person wearing it. A painting on the dial that means something to me can be that cherry on top.
The design of the case is as personal as the dial. A lot of the cases I can source on the market are very limited, and I also had a vision of my own. So that began my journey: from learning how to design a watch case, to testing and manufacturing my own cases, to learning enamel and making my first enamel watch.
I've been hooked on a western series lately, and its opening really amazed me, so I decided to paint my own take on it for this first watch. I especially love the image of three horses running against a hazy, earth-yellow background.
My only regret: the movement isn't my own design, just a classic ETA 2824. I dream of making a movement myself one day, but for now that still feels a bit of a stretch.
I'd like to thank this community for having me over the last two years. I've been posting a few of my works here, and I've really felt welcome. Thanks everyone, and the mods. #luxury source
