Attempting to explain the situation but it is easiest if you do some searching yourself concerning the term 'eye stroke'.
Anyway - restricted blood-flow to the nerves in the eye causes 'blind spots' and often causes complete loss of vision in one eye. Blood tests are being ordered to help determine if it is from an infection or if it is a complication of diabetes, since those two diagnoses have different treatments.
Summing it up, my vision will never be the same as it used to be - while the dark area in my vision may shrink it will never completely go away, and is something I will have to adjust to.
And wouldn't you know that it would happen to the stronger eye? My right eye is a bit blurrier than my left, and of course the eye affected happens to be my left eye.
To quote a well-known saying, "Fuck". 😆
Anyway, that is where I currently am - holding my hand over my left eye and attempting to read with my right. Could be worse - at least it didn't affect my hearing so I can still enjoy some tunes. 👍
Oh, I am so sorry 😔 What can I say? In situations like this, the only thing I can ever think of is: Hey, it could be worse! At least you can see... Let me give you a hug, okay? Greetings from a blind chicken (I can't really see much without my glasses)
It is very sad, my friend, that now you will see worse with both eyes. I am very sorry, what could I wish.... But I'm hoping it might get better! 🙏🙏 Take care of yourself!
g morning 👋 few months ago my mother had similar situation with both eyes, she is diabetic. they said it's because of the blood sugar... they decided to operate the right eye , gave her meds to fix the high pressure (2 weeks) then done it. now preparing to fix the left eye, same procedure will be done.
wold be great to keep your blood sugar under control and nshallah you will be fine asap
