Am I the only one with this problem? Would anyone use something like this for hiking trail maps?
The other day I was hiking with friends and took a photo of one of those trail maps they have posted at the trailhead.
Later on while hiking, I kept wishing I could just use that exact map on my phone with a live location marker over it instead of constantly switching between different map apps or trying to remember the trails from the sign.
So I made a really simple mockup/demo of the idea.
The idea is basically: take a photo of a physical trail map → convert it into a zoomable digital map → navigate it with a live GPS marker directly over the image.
Not trying to sell anything or overcomplicate it, just genuinely curious if other hikers would find something like this useful too.
