Andy is doing well. Yesterday was really exhausting. First, his surgery was scheduled for 9 a.m. Then it was postponed to 2 p.m., but we weren't told about it—I only found out when I called via phone. Then the appointment was postponed again to 4 p.m.—but at 4 p.m., no one showed up and there was no message. (I sat waiting at Andy's bedside.) At 6 p.m., he was picked up and was supposed to be taken to the operating room—I waited. At 8 p.m., I received a message that he had been "parked" in the recovery room and had not yet gone under the knife. But it was supposed to start soon. I was sent away from the ward because visiting hours were over. I insisted on waiting and seeing him briefly after he woke up. So I continued to wait in the clinic foyer. At 10:20 p.m., he was finally brought back to his room, and I was able to wish him good night. Shortly after 11:00 p.m., I was home.
Currently, we are waiting for the lab results, but he is alert and doing well so far. I am already champing at the bit to finally bring him home. Then I will turn into nurse
