Wanted a watch for years. A few days ago, I finally did something about it.
I have wanted a nice watch for around 20 years. About 9 months ago I decided to actually get serious and start researching things, trying stuff on, and actually figuring out what I wanted. I figured my upcoming 40th was a good excuse to finally make it happen.
A lot has changed in that 9 months. Everything from what I thought I wanted, to what size would work, to how much I was willing to spend changed. About the only thing that didn't was my obsession with this watch from the first time I saw it in pictures.
About 2 weeks ago I found one I was able to try one on, and last Friday mine came in. I'm not sure it's a particularly popular choice, but I figured this was as good a place as any to share a little of my excitement.
