How Do You Think Marvel Studios Will Adapt Children’s Crusade If They Ever Decide To?
I haven’t been keeping up with any of the rumors for Doomsday or Secret Wars, but I’ve been coming up with my own theories and after reading Avengers: Children’s Crusade for the first time today, I think that the story might be partially adapted in Doomsday and Secret Wars. At the end of Doomsday, Dr. Doom could reveal that he has Wanda under his control and maybe even use her to get rid of the X-Men universe. He could also use her as the replacement for Molecule Man when creating Battleworld, but I think that role will more likely go to Loki. I would love to see the Young Avengers adapted in the MCU and I think they could easily have a subplot in Secret Wars.
I could also see Vision having a major spot on the team, after he rediscovers himself in Vision Quest. I think Marvel will make a big deal out of Wanda and Vision reuniting and they might be the catalyst to stopping Dr. Doom. They could even replace Wanda’s iconic “No More Mutants” line with “No More Multiverse,” which would set up the next phase (centered around mutants) perfectly. Wanda’s magic would be a great way to recast certain longtime characters like Iron Man, Captain America, and even Black Panther, who according to Wakanda Forever, shouldn’t be old enough by the third movie to be an adult.
