I stared at my phone, my heart suddenly racing.
"DON'T LOOK BEHIND YOU."
I let out a small laugh, trying to shake it off.
"Okay... that's creepy," I muttered.
Probably just a prank.
Then another message came in.
"You already did once."
My smile faded.
I froze.
I didn't remember turning around.
Did I?
My fingers felt cold as I typed back:
"Who is this?"
No reply.
For a few seconds... nothing.
Then my phone buzzed again.
"You don't remember...?"
A strange feeling washed over me.
Like something was... wrong.
Like I forgot something important.
Slowly, I looked at my front camera reflection on the black screen of my phone.
It was me.
Just me.
Then-
The reflection blinked.
But I didn't.
My phone vibrated one last time.
"Now... don't turn around again."
