Out of the present MCU characters, who do you think will make a great Disney+ show, post secret wars ?
I think a Fantastic Four show would be great. They could call it Fantastic Family. Once the three universes come together after Secret Wars (the new X-Men universe, the main MCU universe, and the Fantastic Four universe)it would be interesting to see someone with godlike intelligence, such as Reed Richards, adapt to a far more difficult and less perfect world.
Perhaps he would gradually grow more out of touch with humanity because of his sheer intelligence, as well as his repeated failures and challenges in trying to fix this new world.
If they wanted to keep production costs lower, they could reduce the number of special effects scenes involving Reed stretching or Johnny using his fire powers, and instead focus more on the characters’ personalities and emotional growth.
2.
An 2 season Xmen series, showing us the old Xmen universe before the the universes come together in secret wars.
Show us how the mutant world works with the Xmen.
It would make a lot of sense for that universe to be set in the 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s.
That setting would allow for younger versions of Magneto and Professor X while also keeping Magneto closely connected to the atrocities of the Holocaust, an experience that is central to his character and worldview.
The mutant genocide that Magneto feared may have already begun in this universe.
At the same time, this universe could still be set in that earlier period while being far more technologically advanced than the main MCU Earth. Humanity’s fear of mutants could have evolved into hatred.
1. First, they began registering mutants.
2.Then they created the Sentinel project to patrol mutant communities for “safety.”
3.Eventually, they used the Sentinels to exterminate any mutants they feared, creating the very genocide Magneto always warned about.
Half or more of all mutants may have been wiped out, with camps being used to exterminate them alongside the Sentinels. Magneto’s worst fears would have come true.
For example, we could see early versions of advanced robotics, or even Sentinels already in operation, giving the setting a distinct retro futuristic feel. I do think this universe will genuinely darker; what is less clear is just how technologically advanced it will be.
3.
A spiderman based series with some seasons but keep it a bit more low budget. Focus on Peter's personal life, and his struggles just doing everyday stuff...focusing on paying rent, college, girls, navigating the big city life in NYC etc...but with a few spiderman scenes here and there, maybe just call the series 'Pete'.
