Why didn't barley and Ian get another 24 hours?
In onward, barley and Ian used a phoenix gem to revive their deceased father, but the spell ended up failing and only revived the bottom half of their father—in the end of the movie they managed to get a 2nd phoenix gem and started to spell again, then why didn't they get another 24 hours with their dad?
The note said "Once is all we get, grant me this rebirth, once the sun has set, one day to walk the earth"
So when they did the spell again in the end of the movie, their dad should've just regained another 24 hours.
