Layered Strawberry Shortcake
I made this for a party a few weeks ago and it looked great. I'm not exactly sure how it ended up tasting (I did try the bits together, but not in cake form) because I was outside when it got cut and devoured.
Note: I picked the no recipe tag, but I'm going to include the recipe for the whipped cream because it was amazing.
8oz block cream cheese- room temp (mine wasn't because I forgot to get it out of the fridge, so I just let it beat for longer)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until combined.
Add cream and beat until volume increases and has reached the texture you desire.
Use immediately as it does deflate, but will be fine for several hours.
