When a football team's mascot (a dolphin) is stolen just before the Superbowl, Ace Ventura is put on the case. Now, who would want to steal a dolphin, and why?
This movie was funny! This is not high brow humor but if you are looking for something crazy and funny with immature humor, this is one of the best. This is Jim Carrey at his best...being wild and crazy.
The film is entertaining, and Jim Carrey plays Ace Ventura, a pet detective, a bizarre character that only Jim Carrey can play. This is a typical comedy from that time, which wants only to make the viewer laugh and not burden him with unnecessary things.
