Here is the plot summary:
In the midst of a global naval war games exercise, the USS John Paul Jones and its crew, led by Lieutenant Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch), are on high alert. The scenario unfolds when an international fleet of warships converges to participate in a massive battle simulation. As the exercises begin, an unexpected phenomenon occurs - a mysterious radio signal from deep space is detected, prompting a flurry of excitement and curiosity among the naval personnel.
This transmission has clicked the interest of an extraterrestrial civilization, known as "Planet G".
