I made a temperature chart for 2023
I newly got into embroidery last year and wanted to do this to practice different kinds of flowers. It was only meant as a throw-away-practice-piece, that's why all the circle is so wonky and I didn't leave enough space for the names of the months.
Methodology:
I assigned colors to every 5 degrees celsius.
Dark Blue = Everything below 0°
Icy-greyish Blue = 1° to 5°
Light Blue = 6° to 10°
Green = 11° to 15°
Yellow = 16° to 20°
Orange/Coral = 21° to 25°
Pink = 26° to 30°
Dark Red = Everything above 31°
I used the records for the highest temperature each day in my area (zürich, switzerland) from a weather station. Then just went at it. The placement of the colors within the month is random/for aesthetic reasons.
