The song I selected is “Kana Yaari” by Kaifi Khalil, Eva B, and Wahab Bugti from Coke Studio Pakistan.
I chose this song because its Balochi language and cultural style are quite different from the music I usually listen to.
What makes it special for me is the combination of traditional sounds, including the dambora, with modern pop and rap elements.
I really enjoyed the different vocal styles and the way the three artists bring their own character to the song.
Listening to it gave me a fresh musical experience and helped me appreciate a different part of Pakistan’s musical culture.
