Were you a baker at K-Mart between the year 2002- their closing?
I’m on the hunt for how k-mart made their icing.
Every year, I begged for a K-Mart bakery cake for my birthday. Their icing was light, fluffy, and reminded me of marshmallows.
I was also about 6 years old at the time. They closed down that kmart and then all of them in the coming years.
Since then I’ve tried to remake it. Tried to find it. Terrier everything to figure out what it was and I’m still nowhere near what I remember.
The only thing that has ever come close to that taste is an in and out milkshake. I’ve tried almost every recipe I can find and nothing tastes right.
Does anyone know how that icing and their vanilla cake was made or how I can replicate it?
