Jake Schreier directing X-Men follows something of an MCU tradition
So, for Infinity War and Endgame, the Russos came fresh of the last two Captain America movies, and after doing every single episode of WandaVision, Matt Shackman moved onto Fantastic Four, Now, if Schreier does X-Men, it would follow in the footsteps of those directors, and another thing is that the MCU always uses TV Directors for the big teams, the Russos came from TV, Shackman came from TV, The Fantastic Four: First Steps is his second movie, the rest of his credits are all TV, and Schreier is also mostly TV.
