If the US thinks that Greenland could be a security risks because of Russia and China, then the answer to really stop this is for the United States to support Ukraine 100% in defeating Putins Russian empire whilst they are at their all time low.
Once Ukraine defeats Russia then restrictions on Russia's offensive military can be layed down, including reducing their nuclear weapons.
Why wait for Russia to re-arm and become a bigger threat to all nations. Nip them in the bud now.
China is less of a security risk in the Artic than Russia is.
If something like this can be achieved the US and all its Alies would be more secure.
