For this month's theme, Films/Series About Animals, I chose this adorable movie:
A Dog's Purpose tells the first story of Bailey, a dog who meets a boy named Ethan and grows up with him. Bailey has been supposedly tasked by higher powers to find his purpose in life, and until he does so, Bailey will continue to reincarnate and return to life as a new dog. Bailey doesn't know why he lives so many lives, but he understands that it's normal for him to come back over and over as every lifetime somehow leads him back to his favorite boy, Ethan. While Ethan grows from a little boy to a young man to a middle-aged man, experiencing good times and bad times, trials and tribulations, he eventually learns that he's never alone, because he always has his dog - his Bailey.
W. Bruce Cameron is the author of the novel by the same name and the screenplayer for the adapted movie.
If you love puppies as much as I do, this wholesome movie will make you smile, laugh, and cry like a baby, and most importantly, it will warm your heart. It certainly warmed my heart, and I am huge dog lover. 💕🐶🐶🐶💕
Plus, if you love this movie, then you have to watch the sequel, A Dog's Journey. 😊
