I guess these are the projects planned for 2028
X-Men and Black Panther 3 have been in the works since late 2023, both being the only movies with writers and directors already attached and officially confirmed for the next Saga. They are both rumored to start filming early next year, so they are expected in May and July of 2028 respectively.
Additionally, Wonder Man Season 2 and Marvel Zombies Season 2 were both recently confirmed to be in development on the Marvel Television side. With X-Men '97 and YFNSM's second seasons confirmed for this year and their third seasons along with Daredevil: Born Again S3 officially coming out next year, we can assume Wonder Man S2 and Marvel Zombies S2 are coming out in 2028. Especially since the former probably only just started pre-production, so it shouldn't be expected to start filming until next year, and Zombies S2 only has an animatic for episode 1 ready.
Fantastic Four 2 has not been explicitly confirmed, but it is expected to be the December 2028 release, since that date was specifically added to the slate 2 weeks after the first movie premiered last year, replacing the previously booked November 2028 date, with the trades also reporting it was specifically booked for the Fantastic Four sequel, which had apparently already started development a few months prior. Plus, what movie would fit a Holiday release better than the family-focused Fantastic Four?
The other Disney+ slots could go to
\* X-Men '97 Season 4 (Brad Winderbaum said last year they were already discussing potential storylines for Seasons 4 and 5 of X-Men '97, although the show has yet to be renewed officially past Season 3)
\* YFNSM S4 (with each Season focusing on one of Peter's high school years, season 4 should focus on his senior year, but it's unclear whether it's been renewed for a fourth season either)
\* the Jessica Jones project (Brad Winderbaum and Krysten Ritter said last year that they have been discussing many Jessica storylines that they want to see on the big screen, but they can't reveal more, because they are going to be doing a Jessica focused project "sooner than \[we\] think". \*\*It's unclear whether it'll be a show or a special presentation however\*\*)
\* Strange Academy (a project which has been in development since late 2022 with Wong, America Chavez, Zelma Stanton and Parker Robbins at the helm, as an attempt to rival HBO's Harry Potter reboot - although it was put on ice 2 years ago, it's reportedly been approved and was looking for a showrunner late last year. This could also see the return of Riri Williams and Cohen's Mephisto)
\* Champions (another show which has reportedly been in development for the last 4 years, but with the Champions finally starting to assemble and reportedly being shown as a team in >!Doomsday and Secret Wars!<, this feels inevitable. >!Kamala, Kate, Cassie, Tommy and Billy!< seem to be the founding members according to leaked concept art, and Rachna Fruchbom was heavily rumored to have been hired as the showrunner last year)
