How tough is coloured titanium and can it withstand heat?
Does anyone know how tough the finish is on coloured titanium and if it can handle high amounts of heat? These exhaust manifold studs look good but will this colour fade or burn off over time?
Would you see any wear or the underlying metal come through if you take the fastener on and off multiple times? Example being a bolt head or nut
And is the silver colour just another oxide layer or is this its natural finish? Im wondering if its a tougher finish than the colours
