Help air sealing hatch to the attic. Best tape to use?
I have an attic hatch which I can feel the cold air pouring in from. I bought a sort of quilted cover to help insulate it, but I can feel the air still coming in along the sides. My best idea is to use some kind of tape to go along the seams. The mouldings along the hatch are painted so it would have to stick to a painted surface and be removable easily when I rarely need to go up there maybe once a year, but also stick securely so it won't fall off. Any ideas for how to handle this or a type of tape to use?
The in the house dimensions are 33"x26", including a 2" wide moulding all around.
