Guillermo del Toro is the perfect director for the Midnight Suns movie. He's passion and taste for the horror and the supernatural, added to his great talent and technic as a film maker, make him the best choice for this project.
(He's even directed, arguably, the best Blade movie).
His and the stars in the team, such as Oscar Isaac, Maharahala Ali, ecc... will make this movie a banger!
