Keeping Propane safe while on a tent camping road trip?
So was recently gifted a rather nice propane camping stove, and we are leaving on a road trip through the Dakotas later today. Now I have zero experience with propane, and the stuff I’m reading about it makes me rather wary about it with our setup, because we’re based entirely out of our car, no mounts available for the tanks and it’s going to be very warm and obviously I’m not going to have the car running 24/7 to keep the tanks cool. Now I know people do this all the time but I’m trying to research how and am coming up with nothing, just general guidelines that won’t work well for our situation but I’m sure I’m not the only one. The car does have a sunroof that can be opened for ventilation, however that makes keeping the tanks in the shade more difficult as well
