Batman has such a long and rich history. Have you made a reading order for the character, or is there one that you would recommend?
Hi there! I'm eager to engage in a (very) long-term project of gradually reading Batman. To be precise, I am not just looking for the best of Batman (though that it is a top priority, naturally) but also the lesser-known runs that will help me better appreciate the Dark Knight and Gotham.
For those of you who have already done this, did you make a reading order for yourself? Or did you use one that you could share?
I'll stress that I know that the fun of Batman is picking up a random issue and diving in. I'm not dismissing that at all. And I would treat any reading orders you'd be kind enough to share as general suggestions, not homework.
Thanks so much for any reading orders you could send! I really appreciate it. Cheers!
