dropped my watch on tile in front of me

I had a tough experience today. I took my Seiko Alpinist in just to have the strap swapped, and while the guy was working, he managed to drop it from about 4 feet up right onto a hard tile floor. Not exactly sure how it landed but it eventually bounced and settled face down in the crystal.
Before he even picked the watch up off the floor, he was already telling me "it's fine, it's fine." He then tried to convince me that the tile was some specialized soft material to prevent damage, which felt like BS.
Then afterwards while he was swapping out the strap he was trying to gas up his shop, bragging about how he works on Rolexes and high-end stuff and how well he takes care of his customers. I think his intent was to convince me that if something was wrong he would fix it.
I told him it was unprofessional, and when I refused to pay for the "service," he wouldn't give me a receipt documenting that the drop happened. I ended up paying the $30 just to get a written statement on the receipt that the incident occurred.
The watch looks fine to the naked eye, but I'm worried about the movement.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Should I get it checked out by someone else immediately? And since I have the incident in writing on the receipt, what would you do in this situation?

Update: It’s definitely scratched and the date is misaligned. I am taking it to an actual watchmaker to have it repaired, then bringing the receipt to Fast Fix. Upon his rejection of reimbursement I will email corporate threatening to bring to small claims.

Also I understand $30 is a lot for a swap. I just wanted it done fast ( somewhere I could bring it during my lunch break) and was excited/ not that price sensitive for small things like this.
