#UnseenScar g/confessions g/studio When I was a child…

#UnseenScar

When I was a child, people often saw me as weaker or different compared to my siblings and friends. I was smarter than many around me, but because of my height, I was often teased and called “skinny” or “too tall.” Even though I always ate well, people would comment that I wasn’t gaining weight, and those small remarks left invisible scars on my heart.
Even in a household with servants and a life that seemed like royalty, I felt that people only valued appearances and overlooked the goodness and intelligence inside. Many times, I questioned myself, wondering if something was truly wrong with me, but deep inside, a hidden courage and self-confidence were also growing.
These experiences sometimes shook my confidence, and I learned to stay quiet, not wanting people to laugh at my weaknesses.
At 19, I married . Within the first three years of marriage, my body began to change, and I started gaining weight. Surprisingly, instead of happiness, people began talking again. Those who once called me “skinny” now started calling me “fat.” Hearing that was painful, but I never let my happiness or self-worth depend on other people’s opinions.
I learned that invisible scars remain inside us, but they don’t make us weak — they just remind us to recognize our own strength. I felt the pain, accepted it, but never let it stop me. I continued to move forward in life, never losing the confidence I had built inside myself.
Alhamdulillah, today I am very happy in my life. I take pride in my hard work, patience, and self-confidence. These scars remind me that life’s challenges and people’s words can never hold me back if I truly believe in myself. Even today, I keep moving forward with honesty in my heart and appreciation for every single day.

It’s like those scars are actually proof that you’re unbreakable. It’s a total superpower to realize that people’s opinions only have as much power as you give them.
Honestly, most people spend their entire lives chasing approval and never quite finding it, but you’ve managed to just... walk away from that trap. That’s huge. Your happiness today isn't just "good luck"—it’s the payoff for all that inner work and the self-belief you kept alive during the tough times. You planted those seeds years ago, and now you’re finally getting to enjoy the harvest.
Stay happy and blessed sis🙏☺️🌻✨

Your story highlights how hurtful words can impact our self-worth, yet it’s inspiring to see how you've transformed those challenges into strength and resilience. Praise be to God for your happiness and the confidence you've cultivated, your journey of self-acceptance is a beautiful reminder that our worth is defined by how we see ourselves, not by others' opinions.
