How should the in-universe future for the dc universe look like? Should it be a utopia? Should it be the same, maybe even worse?
I mainly ask this because the times we’ve seen the future of the dc universe (mainly in elseworlds) the world is usually still the same (Batman beyond) or worse, almost dystopian (the dark knight returns). Should it be like this? Say it’s the same because “society always does the same”, or maybe it goes dystopian because the world still needs heros?
Or should it be peaceful, almost like a utopia because of the heros and technology that exists in the dc universe that would likely maybe the world a better place for all?
