Alternate worlds
Hey all! I'm looking for some movies that have alternate worlds in them. Any genre is great, the different contexts and environments are welcome. I just need fleshed-out alternates that can be fully physical or just mental/psychological (or something else, if that's the story).
Some examples could be: The Chronicles of Narnia, Jumanji, Us, Midnight in Paris, Coraline, Annihilation, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Nightmare on Elm Street.
I'm using these to look at how alternate worlds can be used narratively in storytelling. The movies don't necessarily have to be top-notch, A+ films, as long as they have developed "other worlds."
Thanks in advance ☺️
