The thrill of watching zombie movies.
Despite its grim premise, 28 Days Later is a surprisingly brilliant take on the zombie apocalypse. You're immediately drawn into a world that feels chillingly plausible and incredibly tense.
The film was shot almost entirely in sequence; only pickups and a few reshoots were shot out of sequence.
The film's story does jump off 28 days after the virus overtakes the city. Jim (played by Cillian Murphy) wakes up in a hospital, unaware that modern society has collapsed.

Oh boy, I haven't seen this movie yet. Haha. Not that I'd watch it but at least I finally saw the trailer.
