Peel and stick on top of old linoleum -- never done tile work, looking for videos and advice
Our kitchen has old peel and stick tiles from the previous owner set on top of (what I assume is) the original 50s roll linoleum. I'm fearful of how much sticky stuff exists in this equation. Our kitchen isn't huge -- galley style, maybe 12\*20. The subfloor (is that what it's called?) is easily accessible and visible from the basement.
What are my chances at decently putting tile down in this room as an absolute novice? I'm persistent, and patient. Not sure how far that will get me. I would choose large tile. I can't remove the cabinets, but I can move the appliances. Is that an issue? It will transition in three doorways, one to a step down breezeway, and the other two to the original hardwood floor.
Can you recommend videos that worked for you, or tips for a beginner? How should I approach the project from a planning standpoint? #diy source
