Help with drilling into studs
I'm trying to mount our TV to the wall, and I used a studfinder and the mount advises to drill 2 3/4 inches into the wall. I can only get 1 3/4 inches into the wall and can't go any further.. I assumed it was steel studs and so I bought a drill bit for steel and still cannot penetrate. I live in florida and it's the exterior wall so I'm wondering if I've hit the stucco. Any suggestions advice appreciated!
