Gift from my wife for Valentines
Didn’t grow up with a lot of money and graduated college during the pandemic, so I was always hesitant to pull the trigger on a “real” watch, even as things started going well in my career. Got engaged a few years ago, married last year, and life has been moving in a really positive direction.
I’d tried on a Seamaster, Speedmaster, Explorer, Submariner, Santos, and a few others, but I was always too cautious to commit.
My wife surprised me with this for Valentine’s Day, and I’m incredibly grateful and thankful to her.
Santos might be next, and I’ve got my name down for an Explorer II at the AD.
