Need Tent Reccos!
Hey!
I am looking for a new tent, but struggle with all the options out there, I'll just throw down a list of demands and would greatly appreciate any advice.
-For me and girlfriend, so 4-6 person size.
-3 season ability minimum would be better, I live in Alberta so see a wide range of temperatures.
-I am 6'1, so the taller the better. I do like the idea of a more vertical tent, as I always hate when things slide or roll into the useless little edges in my tent!
-I have a backpacking tent already, so the rest of the camping I'll be doing will be either serviced or unserviced campgrounds, without much of a hike, so a hefty tent isn't real a big deal for me.
-Less pressing, but I'm not a fan of the colourful or neon modern tents we have. I like something with earthy tones!
Just looking for a high quality base camp tent that isn't absurdly massive or difficult to setup. I'm gonna say a max budget of about $1000 USD.
Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!!
