I got this email a few hours ago, and it was very hard not to happy cry…I am one of four people at my church who run slides, and I’ve kinda become the unofficial head of slides over the last few months (originally it was just bc I knew the slides team schedule best and could get us scheduled in like 5 minutes, then it progressed to training a new team member and becoming a sort-of-go between between the team and church leadership). I’ve been working hard on slides (I enjoy serving in that way and I’m decently good at it), but to have this pastor (who’s the “tech guy” of the church) call me the “best and brightest”, just…the warm fuzzies from that will be around for a while 🥹😊😊
