Fear deepened into despair when the villagers realized that one of the fallen was the King . Whispers of panic spread rapidly through the crowd, and the once-lively village suddenly felt cold and hopeless. Without their leader to guide them and with the beast still hidden among the shadows, many believed the village was no longer safe. And so, with heavy hearts, they began to consider abandoning the home they once cherished.
