Is there an in world explanation for why only one team of heroes respond to certain world threats?
So I get that sometimes things happen too quickly for teams that aren't in the know beforehand to respond, but that can't always be the case. But (and I say this as a fan who doesn't know much) I've never heard of the Avengers and X-Men teaming up to fight Thanos or Apocalypse for example? Would they not notice massive world ending events going on and fly over to help if they can? Sure someone like Captain America or Wolverine need a ride, but others like Iron Man or Storm could just fly over under their own power and help the other team save the world. It's not like having them around would be harmful in most cases?
Or is it a case of certain teams being more familiar or better equipped to fight certain villains (and they for some reason don't share Intel afterwards in case the super villain returns for round 2) so while the Avengers fight Thanos, the X-Men or Fantastic 4 are just in the background running damage control trying to keep civilians from becoming collateral damage and just trust the Avengers to deal with the villain in the meantime?
Or do the Avengers see Magneto or Apocalypse fucking shit up and just go "well that's the xmens problem, I'm still on vacation for two more days"
Does anyone think that the MCU will address this at all? Maybe have the Avengers asking the X-Men why they haven't helped out in any of the previous avenger movies? #movies #video
