Are Hot Tents necessary for winter camping?
I wanted to go winter camping a couple of months ago, but decided against it because I don't own a hot tent. I recently bought a quick setup tent, and have been kicking myself for not buying a hot tent instead. I even considered if there was an easy way to convert it into a hot tent. But is it really even necessary to have a hot tent for winter camping? What all ways are there to stay warm in the winter in a "regular" tent? Any that don't require a space heater? I really want to try winter camping, but I'm still pretty new to solo camping in general.
