Vincent van Gogh is strolling through his wonderful sunflowers… when suddenly a plane flies right over his head.
He turns to me, head tilted upward:
- Excuse me, ma'am… what is that thing flying in the sky?
Me: Oh for heaven’s sake, why always me?
- It’s an airplaaane !!
Wait… aren’t you the one missing an ear? Van Gogh? 😱 ah… well, that explains everything.
- An airplane is a machine that flies! It has wings like a bird, it goes vruuum and it carries people far, far away, above the clouds. It’s like a bus… but in the sky!
Him (delighted): Ah, wonderful!
If I were to paint it, I would definitely give it a hat.😁Because yes, even an airplane deserves a bit of elegance as it crosses the sky...
And of course it would be yellow. All yellow.💛
