My Declutter Confession 💔✨
Alhamdulillah, I don’t have any mug, gift, or item from my ex — because I never believed in keeping things that carry emotional weight or painful memories. When something no longer brings peace, it doesn’t deserve space in my life. I believe in moving forward with a clean heart and a clear mind.
My two items are my mother’s steel bowl that she used herself, and my father’s eyeglasses case. To someone else, they may look like simple, ordinary things, but for me they carry the deepest emotions of my life. These are the things my parents touched, used, and kept close to them, and through them I still feel their presence.
I will never declutter these because they hold my parents’ love, their warmth, and their memories. When I hold my mother’s bowl, it feels like she is still taking care of me, and when I see my father’s glasses case, it reminds me of his gentle eyes and protective love. These are not just objects — they are pieces of my soul, my roots, and my forever.
Some things are not meant to be thrown away… they are meant to be carried in the heart forever. 💖
