Dear Danny & g/studio : A Reality Check from the Feed 🔍…

Dear Danny & : A Reality Check from the Feed 🔍
I’ve been here through Week 1, 2, 3, ect, ect...I’ve participated and I’ve watched.
We are now at Week 8, and it’s time to be honest: The #Earn initiative is currently cannibalizing the social experience.
Danny, from your dashboard, the numbers probably look great. You see "MLX" moving via activities and hundreds of comments (retention?). But as someone living in the feed this isn't a pilot anymore—it’s a pivot.
After 60 days of this, the 'Social' in Tangled Social is buried under 8 weeks of repetitive templates and badge-restricted chores. If the goal was to find fresh talent, why are the same people using the same templates for two months straight? Danny, the 'Week 8' data might look like growth, but the feed feels like a ghost town of real human connection. We are seeing high activity, but a huge portion of it is template farming. When a single creator posts 5 or 8 identical 'tasks' just to flood the queue, they aren't creating content—they are 'gaming' your review process. It’s not 'Social 3.0'; it’s a high-volume assembly line. By incentivizing activities that require multiple Market Badges and specific Verified colors, the feed has become a gated community. The 'Fresh CCs' you’re looking for can't even get in the door because the current 'Earn' culture is designed by the elite, for the elite. The #Earn tag has turned the global feed into a noisy job board of micro-tasks (drawing suns, sitting like bosses, etc.).

Real creators are burning out.
Real users are scrolling past the noise.
The Ask? Danny, don't just look at the 'Proof of Payout' comments. Look at the diversity (or lack thereof) in the feed. If Tangled becomes a place where we only talk to each other to 'complete a task,' then we’ve lost the 'Social' in Tangled Social.

Let’s pivot back to rewarding quality and original thought, not just who can copy-paste the most #earn templates.

I once tried to launch an initiative, 24 hours of AI free content, tried to encourage real feeds and personal efforts.
If it was adopted we wouldn't be at this point, at least lower mlx farmers and better activities standards.
I agree , it's draining both Millix foundation and the social aspect of Tangled (going to be a farming platform).
Not good for the #ecosystem , value and price of Mlx.

The core team had a beautiful goal . Wich seems miss-interpreted by many users.
I guess if they check out the quality of the feeds vs the ressources spent vs the general purpose of tangled.. things may be extended on right conditions.

I hear you, whether it’s AI or manual, the real tragedy is that those 'personal efforts' you’re talking about are being suffocated.
I’m not even against the tools—I’m against the clogging . Right now, the #Earn activities are so overpowering that there’s no room left for the 'Social' part of the site. I want to see people sharing their day, their photography, a random joke, or a deep thought.  Danny and the team had a vision for a revolutionary social economy, but right now, that goal is being misinterpreted as a 'get rich quick' scheme by a few loud actors.
Instead, we’re scrolling through an endless loop of 'tasks' and 'templates.' The feed shouldn't just be a list of chores; it should be a window into people’s lives. Right now, the window is boarded up with #Earn signs. 🏘️🚫

I agree. That's all I see now. Somebody holding up a fruit or something. Yeah!

Spot on. It’s a double-sided trap. The participants are chasing the small carrots, but the hosts are eye-balling that 5 million MLX 'sweet fruit' at the top. 😏😂

Hands up for this one frienny.🙌🙌
Honestly, this is what happens when incentives outpace inspiration. You’re describing a social network that’s lost the plot; it’s hard to have a real conversation when everyone is too busy checking off tasks for millix.

Exactly! 'Incentives outpacing inspiration' is the perfect way to put it. When the primary reason to talk to someone is to check off a task, the conversation dies before it even starts. We’re all just staring at a 'To-Do' list instead of a Social Feed.  It’s hard to find the 'inspiration' to create something original when the system is literally paying people to be unoriginal.

It’s soul-crushing to feel like you have to trade your identity for views.

That’s the most honest thing I’ve read all day, you hit the nail on the head. The #Earn initiative was a great idea in theory, but the 'fast buck' mentality is turning the home feed into a mess. When we see the same wishy-washy templates over and over, it feels like the platform is being treated as an ATM rather than a community. Worst of all is that 'TikTok' vibe —some of these tasks feel almost humiliating. We’ve gone from 'Social 3.0' to asking people to perform like puppets for a payout. There’s no dignity in a feed that prioritizes 'doing a trick' over having a conversation. We’re better than that. 📉

Agreed 💯.
Activity placed and within one or two hours required entries filled. It means the activity lacking in effort and creativity. Then in one day I witnessed more than 5-6 activities by single user. Definitely there is no restrictions on this matter but the term " activity" dying in itself.

Spot on! That window for entries tells the whole story. If a task is completed that fast, it wasn't a 'challenge' or a creative 'activity'—it was just a claim button. When a single user can drop 6 of these in a day, they aren't contributing to the community; they’re just managing an assembly line. As you said, the term 'activity' is dying because it has been stripped of any actual effort. It’s just high-speed MLX farming now, and it’s pushing real social interaction right off the feed.

Honestly, I'm not wise enough to talk on this and share my opinion on this matter. I'm not even sure what is really good for the platform. But yes, copy paste and ghost things really something noticeable.

You don't need to be an expert to have a valid opinion. In fact, your perspective is exactly what matters most. If a regular user starts noticing that the feed feels like a 'ghost town' of copy-pasted content, then the platform has a problem. When 'Earn' becomes more important than 'Social,' the real humans are the ones who feel it first. Thanks for sharing what you’re seeing!

Some activities were really great, while others made me wonder what the point was. (And where is the effort?)
And whether we hadn't already done them a hundred times before... Of course, some things are repeated—not everyone gets to experience everything—but some activities were just a quick way to earn Millix.

Exactly! While I’ve seen some very unique gems, I’m now stuck on that same question: Where is the effort? The problem is that the 'template' has become a loophole. The mechanics stay exactly the same every time—only the 'task' changes slightly. When a user can flood the feed with 5 or 8 of these identical posts, it’s just a math game. They pay out 250,000 $MLX$ to a few people, but pocket millions in return for 30 seconds of copy-pasting.
It’s turned the feed into a 'rinse and repeat' economy where the task is just a placeholder for the payout. ;)
