One thing I face regularly,
As a man, I often carry my emotions in silence. I don’t always have the words, or the space, to explain what’s heavy inside me.
Why the opposite sex needs to feel it.
Because silence isn’t emptiness, it is restraint. Feeling it would show that not all pain is loud, and not everyone who is quiet is okay.
What understanding you gain.
I learn to listen beyond the words, to notice pauses, changed moods, and unspoken weight. I understand that sometimes love means staying present even when nothing is being said.
