Not Doomsday Related but, It's just my genuine thoughts on Thor 4.

Honestly, after watching Thor 4, 3 times, I honestly can say it's not THAT bad.

Yeah, the humor gets dry and repetitive and ruins the scenes sometimes, but like, then there's scenes like Thor moving in front of Quill, Stormbreaker being a jealous girlfriend, Sif immediately switching up when she realizes she needs to die DURING the battle when she's telling Thor to leave her there(Which seems to not make sense seeing as Jane made it to Valhalla after dying AFTER the fight with Gorr was over. Though she technically already was dying so eh.)

There's also the fact Christian Bale acted his ass off, I genuinely haven't felt discomfort or genuine fear from a marvel villain(other than Ultron) like I did with Gorr. He genuinely made me uncomfortable when he had Valk and Jane tied up and was speaking to them in the way he was.

Omnipotence City. No explanation needed.

There's the action sequences which were all visually pleasing, and the effects used on Mjolnir, really the way Jane uses it. It's incredible, honestly one of the best uses of a shatter like weapon I've seen.

But then there's the bad stuff.

Badly placed humor breaking tension, it's like "Jane has cancer and will die soon" and then \*Insert goat screams here.\*

Thor being honestly a bit too goofy, he had his grounded moments, but he was just a little too goofy.

Then there's the fact the movie tried way too hard to be like Ragnarok. If it didn't try so hard, it would've worked, less jokes, more serious tones, actually letting serious shit breathe without having 2 magical goats scream. Seriously. Fuck those goats. That's why Ragnarok worked. It knew when to be funny and when to be serious. This movie tried to be funny more than it would be serious. I get it, Thor has always been portrayed in the MCU as a little more goofy, kinda light hearted, but at the end of the day he's still a genuinely grounded character at the end of the day.

My honest rating?

6.5/10. Could have been so much better.
