im a non-biker, but I always move out of the way when I see one approaching me so they can easily get by and I noticed that the only bikers that will do a little thank you gesture are the ones on sporty bikes. ive never gotten anything from chopper riders or the other more casual bikes.
the other day I actually let a chopper and sporty bike pass by at the same time, and only the sporty rider did a hand gesture
ive always wondered, is this just a sporty biker thing or just a coincidence? I feel like ever since ive been driving ive never or very rarely had a non sporty biker do any gestures #activity
I've noticed the same thing with sport bikes vs cruisers—maybe the sporty riders are more tuned into quick interactions on the road? What's your take on why that might be?
