They didn't need all the stones.
So when they figured out the time travel shenanigans, why didn't they simply go back and get the time stone, go to Thanos' retirement planet and use it to un obliterate the rest of the stones that Thanos destroyed? He already showed that it's possible by reversing time on the mind stone. Am I crazy? Are there any concrete in lore reasons why this wouldn't have worked? Or at the very least, back in time just before Thanos destroyed them to begin with and ambush him on said retirement planet? The more I think about endgame the more I realize that their first plan was needlessly complicated.
