Why are people so hesitant about playing with new people?
There is a park about 10 minutes from my house that I frequent. Some nights I will go alone, others I will go with a friend however it seems that whenever we go people are hesitant to play with us. If I show up on my own and see an odd numbered group I’ll ask if they want to play 2s and it’s always the “uhhmmmmm no we’re just trying to play 1s”. I can respect if you want to play ones but it just seems people are very uncomfortable playing with someone new to them. In the other hand I’ll walk into my local gym and go play pick up basketball with a bunch of randoms and no one will bat an eye.
